Stage Hypnotism Online Course

Course Description

The stage hypnotist online course teaches all the necessary concepts and skills required for stage hypnotism, but it does not assume that the learner wishes to pursue stage hypnotism as a career.  Therefore, certification is not attached to the consumption of the content.

  • Ten hours of online course content.
  • Eight online “classroom” sessions (one hour each).
  • Seven hours of project work that is completed outside of class.

Therefore, your total commitment to this class is 25 hours.

Stage Hypnotist Certification Requirements

Certification as a Stage Hypnotist is an additional program, to be completed after taking the online course for stage hypnotists.  It's an additional 75 hours on top of the initial 25 hours of the online course. In the certification program, students are coached through a process that involves practical assessment of skills, but also a significant amount of time exploring the craft of performance hypnotism. The idea is to bridge the concepts and skills learned through the online course to each students real world application of that learning, with guidance and mentorship from an experienced instructor.  As a way to document that you have proficiency in the core skills of stage hypnotism, the certification program requires:

  1. Submission and approval of a recorded pre-talk performed by the student.
  2. Submission and approval of three video recordings of the student performing suggestibility tests.
  3. Submission and approval of three video recordings of the student performing three separate induction methods.
  4. Submission in writing of a show outline of the student's own creation.
  5. Submission of three performance scenarios that demonstrate hypnotic phenomena.
